Job description:

Functional Responsibility: The successful candidate will provide the Government customer with technical SCI/SAP security support. The candidate will provide technical guidance by drafting, coordinating, revising, tracking, and preparing security related documents associated with SSO functions. The candidate will prepare papers in Air Force approved formats, including products such as general security correspondence, accreditation packages and security operating procedures. The candidate will prepare and conduct specialized security training pertaining to physical, personnel, and information assurance security disciplines established by policies and procedures. To accomplish assigned tasks, the candidate will participate in technical and programmatic meetings to include possible attendance at other locations. The candidate will demonstrate ability to exercise security oversight and have exceptional oral and written communication skills.

The candidate shall manage the SSOs SCI/SAP Information Assurance Program IAW applicable regulations, instructions, policies and/or established guidelines. Specific tasks include the following: 1) Ensure Automated Information Systems (AIS) accreditation packages are accurate and complete, and submitted to the appropriate DAA IAW the Joint DoD Intelligence Information System/Cryptologic SCI Information Systems Security Standards (JDCSISSS) 2) Provide technical support to the Site Information Assurance Manager (IAM) and supported Information Assurance Officers (IAOs) 3) Conduct annual staff assistance security reviews of all supported information assurance programs 4) Ensure all SSO SCI/SAP AIS systems are accredited and maintained IAW the JDCSISSS and Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 6/3 5) Ensure appointed IAOs comply with Intelligence Community Vulnerability Assessment (ICVA) reporting requirements 6) Develop and provide monthly training material to appointed IAOs 7) Provide technical support to IAOs to assist them in making proper decisions concerning the levels of concern for confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the data, and the protection levels for confidentiality for the system 8) Provide technical support to IAOs in developing procedures for clearing, purging, declassifying, and releasing system memory, media, and output 9) Maintain a repository for all system accreditation/certification documentation and modifications 10) Review and forward to the MAJCOM IAM quarterly site baseline reports 11) Provide technical support to develop protective and corrective measures when an Information System (IS) incident or vulnerability has been discovered 12) Provide technical support to the Site IAM in the development and implementation of an effective IS security education, training, and awareness program 13) Provide technical support to the Site IAM in the development and implementation of procedures IAW JDCSISSS configuration management policies and procedures for authorizing the use of hardware/software on an IS 14) Provide technical support to the Site IAM in responding to security incidents, and for investigating and reporting (to the DAA/DAA Representative/Service Certification Organization and to local management) security violations and incidents, as appropriate 15) Serve as a member on established configuration management boards.

Minimum/General Experience:

TS/SCI security clearance; 10 years IAM experience, expert MS Office skills, expert knowledge of DoD processes and terminology.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Desired Certifications: CISSP
