CYBER ANALYTICS – JUNIOR ANALYST
The CYBER ANALYTICS – JUNIOR ANALYST will conduct research and evaluate technical and all-source cyber intelligence to develop in-depth analysis and produce intelligence assessments that define cyber threats to critical information networks and infrastructures. Candidate will collect data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes, using open source and classified information sources, to determine adversary capability and intent. This position will coordinate and interact across a broad range of joint and interagency activities, and will evaluate intelligence with specific emphasis on network operations and information warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures. Candidate will be expected to understand the intelligence cycle and how to apply this cycle to the cyber environment. Candidate must demonstrate an ability to think critically and produce high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings that describe the all-source cyber threat intelligence picture. Candidate will work closely with other technical, forensic and incident management personnel to facilitate productive information sharing and analytic outreach and develop excellent collaborative relationships within the intelligence community. Strong written and briefing skills are necessary.
Required Skills and Years of Experience: 3+ years as an Analyst with a focus in cyber analysis, technical analysis, intelligence analysis, intelligence policy and planning, ISR and report writing. Experience within the U.S analytic community, the intelligence community, a joint operational environment or military training preferred.
Education/Training Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, Information Security Management, Information Security Policy and Management, Intelligence Studies/Analysis, Strategic Intelligence, Cyber Intelligence, or like discipline, or equivalent professional work experience in cyber analytics required; Masters degree a plus. CISSP certification preferred; DoD program certifications associated with conducting cyber investigations also a plus. Analysts are encouraged to maintain and broaden their professional ties through on-going academic studies in fields relevant to their areas of responsibility.
U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
Security Clearance Requirement: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must have the ability to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Job Type: Regular, Full Time Employment
Location: Greater DC metropolitan area
% Travel: Less than 10%. Some travel may be required to other client locations and to attend training and/or conferences.
